Art Journaling is a non-clinical practice of wellness through
creativity. The focus is on free authentic expression through colors,
images, words, etc. for creative play, relaxation, and enjoyment. In
this practice, one is not limited by artistic skills. There is no
analysis or critique of the results and no strict rules to follow. One
can begin with a specific intention such as self-care, mindful
exploration, personal growth, memory keeping, or simply creative
self-expression.
The instructor, Mou Saha, is
an artist, teacher and speaker and published writer who appeared on PBS
TV shows. She has taught art journaling workshops around the US and
Europe as well as online. Ms. Saha's academic background in clinical
psychology fuels her ongoing quest for wellness through daily creative
practices.
